The Best Camera

Chase Jarvis says it best: “The best camera is the one that’s with you.” And it’s that thought that sparked one of the most incredible photography apps for the iPhone on the market today. It’s very powerful and beefs up the iPhone’s camera. Enter “The Best Camera“!

Chase has used his amazing talent to help create the app and a book on top of that! The book is filled with images taken only with his iPhone. There’s a few skeptics out there because Chase’s iPhone images are stunning, but you have to keep in mind that cameras don’t make great pictures, photographers do!

There are quite a few blogs that are reviewing the app, so I’m not going to do that here. I’m just going to share a before and after shot so that you can get a little bit of an idea of what this app can really do. Ready?

The other night following a photo shoot, there was a killer sunset from Coronado Beach. I had packed all of my camera gear and was getting ready to leave the beach. So, I pulled out my iPhone and framed a shot.

You can see how much of a difference having this app at your disposal can make in the quality of your images. I can’t wait to play around with it some more! As a matter of fact, Chase has created an entire community of iPhone photographers so be sure to check out the site and see all of the great images that people are making on their iPhones.
Hope you’re having a great week. I’m still here in San Diego, wishing I could have made it to Vegas for Photoshop World, but maybe next year!
